Delicious 5-Ingredient Chicken Recipes

As busy when we get every day, we still would like to prepare a decent and hearty meal for that family. While not we all have the luxury of their time to cook extravagant dinners, we can easily opt cooking simpler, time-saving recipes that happen to be just as good. If you’re tight on time, try these easy yet delicious 5-ingredient chicken recipes for lunch!

Easy Broccoli and Chicken Casserole

What you would like:

1 can condensed broccoli cheese soup
1 package chicken stuffing mix
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix together broccoli cheese soup (don’t dilute!), cooked chicken and broccoli florets in the large bowl. Transfer mixture with an 11×7-inch baking dish. Prepare the chicken stuffing mix good instructions inside package adding it towards the baking dish. Top with cheddar cheese. Cover and bake within a pre-heated oven (350F) for 20 minutes. When ready, remove cover and continue baking for one more 15 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Apricot Spiced Chicken

What you may need:

4 boneless and skinless chicken halves
1/3 cup apricot preserves
1/4 cup chilli sauce
1 tablespoon hot mustard
Salt to taste

Combine apricot preserves, chilli sauce, mustard and salt (you may season with pepper if desired) inside a saucepan and stir together over medium heat for approximately 3 minutes, or until heated through. Coat a big baking pan with cooking spray. Place the chicken from the baking pan and broil for 6 to 8 minutes per side, brushing generously with spicy apricot sauce throughout the last few minutes of cooking. Allow to cool and sit for a couple of minutes before serving.

Mexican-Style Chicken Rice

What you would like:

1 can diced tomatoes with onions
1 package Mexican-style rice and pasta mix
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
2 cups cubed chicken breasts, cooked
2 tablespoons butter

Melt the butter inside a skillet and cook the rice and pasta mix for 5 minutes or until browned. Add the tomatoes (with liquid), some water (about 3/4 cup) plus the contents of the rice seasoning packet. Bring the mix to a boil. Lower heat and continue cooking for 10 mins. When ready, stir within the chicken and jalapeno. Cover and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 10-20 minutes.
